For lot of people in the world (especially Australian, no offense), Bali is a Paradise. Beaches, nightlife, exotic culture, all put together with a cheap accommodation. Bali is obviously also a paradise to me and most of Jakartan. Not that cheap for us though, yet still affordable. By calling paradise could be means as a "wild getaway", especially for young people like me. Although, it once had a different story. It was 2006. I was in the High school study tour. Pretty much acted like a delicate student (more like the dorky one) during the trip. No escaping dorm, no party in room, no wildness (at all). Boring Good girl.
