Fidya : Bali, July 2011: For the first time in forever

After 7 years, when I'm no longer in the dorky weirdo list, I went to Bali again. Bali was our (me and my travel buddy, Ava) first destination in our Summer holiday Itinerary. We spent 5D4N there before headed to Phuket, Thailand.

Day 1: Party!

It was three of us. Me , Ava, and my ex BF (He was only take a short vacation). We arrived in Bali at 3pm-ish. We had no place to stay yet, so we headed to Kuta right away to find a place. With a help from Alex from Couchsurfing.org, we found a place nearby Kuta Beach with a good deal, but it wasn't clean enough and looks like a tourist colony. Whatever, all in our mind was only to hit a party at our first night.

We contacted another CouchSurfing pal named David to lead us to have some fun. We went to “Sky Garden”. It was lil bit not fair for me. You know what, I, as an Indonesian, had to pay to get in when all the tourists just got it FREE. Damn! Anyway, I don't care, as long as i got my welcoming drink and also had a great time. :)

FYI: Sky Garden is really a nice club for partying, you don't need to dress up like a bitch to get in (like most of clubs in Jakarta) you can simply wear your shirt and flipflop! and they have cheap drinks, even cheaper when they bell the ring for happy hours drinks. We got Kamikaze shot only for 10k Rupiah (around $1 = Crazy) at that time. This club has 4 floors with different ambiances every floor! Gee! this place will never let you bored!
